We’re excited to announce that we’re taking the first step in making our site search experience even better. Beginning tomorrow, we’re simplifying your search experience on Food.com so you can find the stuff you want even quicker. With this change, we’re making it one click easier to find recipes, ingredients, and members — the searches our members use most — directly from the search bar.

We’re also adding a second search bar to the bottom footer area across the entire site, so you’ll never have to scroll too far to search our vast collection of recipes.

Looking for more than recipes, ingredients, or members? Don’t worry! From the search results page, you’ll continue to have one-click access to photos, cookbooks and menus.

As always, you can dig deeper into the 460,000+ recipes on Food.com by using our advanced search tool (recipe sifter) from any page on the site.

Finally, we’re beginning to make some behind the scenes improvements to ensure that every search you make returns the most relevant and highly-rated recipes – the exact results you want. As we continue to enhance and refine our site search experience, we’d love to hear your feedback. Give the new site search a try and tell us: What you do like about it? What could we do to make the your search experience even better?
